The original boutique shopping center had two levels of shopping with a ramp from the first level to the upper plaza level. This ramp at the ground-level blocked the visibility between the stores on the left from those on the right.
The ramp was removed and a new plaza area was constructed with a staircase and escalator going between the ground level and the upper-level offices [the upper-level retail was converted to offices].
