The original site was a County Jail [poured-in-place concrete building] with an exercise yard on the roof
enclosed with a wire fence. The parking lot for visitors was next door.
The jail building was deactivated and converted to an office building. On the roof exercise yard was
constructed a fourth floor office penthouse [metal frame structure and roof]. And a three story museum and roof
sculpture garden was constructed on the next door parking lot.
